After many years of working in the corporate world in London, I studied Nutritional Therapy for 3 years at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) and completed my NLP Master Practitioner training to add coaching techniques to my skill set.
I am now following my real calling: helping people have a healthier and happier life, so they can continue doing the things they love with the health and vitality they deserve.
A few years back, I stopped smoking, started exercising and saw a personal trainer who also had an interest in nutrition and gave me a few tips on how to eat to enhance my training. I was astonished what a difference it made and wanted to know more about the body and the effects nutrition can have. At the time I wanted to specialise in sports nutrition, probably because I was interested in fit guys in gym gear ;o).
However, half a year into my studies I sadly lost my mum to cancer and this made me focus more on helping people that are not well.
Whilst health optimisation programmes are very important in addressing and helping you to understand the underlying root causes of your current symptoms and ailments, it is equally important to address what is going on in your head that lead you to this point and your relationship with food etc.
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a valuable and effective tool for me, which can be used to bring about long term positive change in your thinking, feelings and belief patterns that might be unhelpful to you. That way you are more able to work towards achieving what you really want, overcome barriers and get the best out of yourself with lasting changes.
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is a set of skills and tools that improve how you communicate and influence. These skills also help you to understand yourself and others better, so that you can improve your results and help others to improve theirs.
